Delhi records 17.3 mm of rainfall

New Delhi, September 12: Delhiites were greeted by a wet day today as the city recorded 17.3 mm of rainfall in the last 24 hours.

The heavy rain also resulted in a decline in the mercury levels.

The minimum temperature was recorded at 24.8 degrees Celsius, almost two notches below yesterday’s 26.7 degrees.

The day remained stuffy and the maximum and minimum humidity levels were recorded at 95 and 81 per cent respectively.

The weatherman has forecast that the city is likely to witness more rainfall in the next 24 hours with the sky remaining cloudy and the maximum temperature hovering around 32 degrees.
