Delhi Polls: Aam Aadmi Party refuses to take support from Shahi Imam Bukhari

While talking to ABP News, Aam Aadmi Party leader Sanjay Singh refused to take support from him and said, ” We don’t support the ideology of Imam Bukhari, he had invited Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and not Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his son’s anointment (Dastarbandi).

“We want the support of the common man and we will win with that,” the AAP leader added.

The religious leader had endorsed the Congress Party during the Lok Sabha polls last year, which saw the party routed after 10 years in power.

The Aam Aadmi Party, which is optimistic about forming the government in Delhi, is believed to be in a direct fight with the Bharatiya Janata Party this time.

The AAP, which has come up with several promises this time for the betterment of Delhi, has also found support from the All India Imam Association (AIIA), West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and CPI (M) general secretary Prakash Karat.

A total of 673 candidates are in the fray for the 70-member Delhi Assembly. Delhi goes to polls on February 7, while the results will be declared on February 10.
