New Delhi, March 22: The Delhi High Court Tuesday directed police to protect a couple who got married against the wishes of their parents.
Justice A.K. Pathak called for the safety of the 41-year-old man hailing from Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh and his wife, who is 20 years younger to him.
They married at the Arya Samaj Mandir here against her parents’ wishes Feb 3. The court told the station house officer of Vijay Vihar police station to be in touch with the couple day and night.
