New Delhi: Congress leader Tom Vadakkan lashed out at the Delhi Police for barging into Kerala House in the national capital for allegedly serving beef, and accused the latter of indulging in ‘moral policing’.
“I have eaten at Kerala Bhawan, beef was never served there. Delhi police is indulging in moral policing on Hindu Sena’s orders,” Vadakkan told ANI.
According to reports, Delhi Police has claimed that they initiated action after getting a PCR call from a right-wing group.
The police went to the Kerala House to carry out a precautionary check, but found nothing.
The right-wing group in question is reportedly Hindu Sena, which had earlier attacked Jammu and Kashmir independent MLA Engineer Rashid with ink for hosting a beef party. (ANI)
