New Delhi: Chairman Delhi Minority Commission Dr Zafarul Islam revealed that they have prepared a report on mob violence. He told that there are 175 incidences of mob violence. The report presents details of the incidents; reasons behind the incidents and role of police and government. The report will be released next month. He claimed that the local police has failed in stopping the incidents.
On the question of how to control mob violence, Dr Zafarul Islam said it is difficult because the local police have failed to control it. One way is to move to court. He said unfortunately despite the Supreme Court’s intervention into the matter, Rajnath Singh said we will think about it if the need arises.
As long as Supreme Court doesn’t admonish the ruling people or form SIT, controlling mob violence is difficult, he said.
