New Delhi, August 12: In a mishap that could have led to the loss of a number of lives, a Metro train got derailed near Dwarka station in Delhi.
There were 39 passengers on board but no injuries were reported.
Delhi Metro sources confirmed the accident and said that all the passengers were safely rescued and the accident occurred due to error on part of the driver who missed a signal.
Sources said that the work of restoration was in progress, which may take sometime and the authorities are contemplating suitable action against the driver.
