Delhi-Ludhiana flights from May 13

New Delhi, May 07: Air India will launch its daily commercial flights to the industrial town of Ludhiana in Punjab from May 13.

The national carrier would be operating the flights with a 46-seater ATR aircraft with an introductory fare of Rs 2,430, an airline spokesperson said.

Ludhiana, which is famous for its woollen, cotton and spares industries, have some of the big companies like Hero Cycles and Oswal.

Air India is aiming at tapping the business travellers.

The spokesperson said “the flight timings are such that it would suit the business travellers and our flights would provide connecting flights to Mumbai and Chennai also.”

Flights would leave Delhi at 11 am and reach Ludhiana at 12.15 pm. On the return leg, it would take off from Ludhiana at 12.35 pm and reach Delhi at 1.
