New Delhi: India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) Executive Director Shubhra Singh inaugurated a library of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) Unit at Pragati Maidan here on Friday.
During the event, which was held at Gate No.5, Pragati Maidan, Singh was also presented a CISF memento by DIG, CISF Neeta Singh.
General Manager (Security) ITPO A.K. Vashist, Assistant Commandent CISF Rakesh Kumar, ACP Delhi Police Ravi Kant, Deputy General Manager of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) Rishi Raj and other senior officials of ITPO and CISF were also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Shubhra Singh complimented CISF for its initiative to open a library of CISF unit to inculcate wisdom and moral values among the security personels.
Stressing the need to have better coordination between the CISF and ITPO security personnel through regular orientation programmes, she expressed her happiness over the services which are being provided by the CISF at Pragati Maidan.
She also highlighted the need for better skills coordination between security personel and ITPO to safeguard the exhibition complex, especially when the complex has geared up to its redevelopment plan. (ANI)
