Delhi Govt. paralysed by dengue menace, says BJP

New Delhi, Sept. 19 : The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday maintained that the Delhi Government is “totally paralysed ” by the dengue menace.

“This government is totally paralysed on the issue. It has failed to do the homework needed to contain dengue in time, and now they are engaged in verbal volleys,” Satish Upadhyay, the president of the Delhi unit of the BJP told ANI.

“The government did not follow the advisory issued by the Central Government. It failed to take cognisance of the situation, and now, its minister is abusing doctors,” he added.

Upadhyay further said that instead of containing dengue, the state government was politicising the matter.

Responding to AAP Minister Sandeep Kumar’s controversial remarks about doctors, Upadhyay said, “What do you expect from AAP ministers, considering their level.”

“This government is not doing any work and has totally failed to tackle dengue,” he added.

On Friday, while addressing a Dalit Muslim Ekta Conference, here SC and ST welfare Minister Sandeep Kumar said government hospitals and doctors now don’t have the audacity to refuse admission to dengue patients as their licenses would be cancelled if they did so. (ANI)
