New Delhi [India]: The Arvind Kejriwal-led government has approved the creation of new posts of hospital managers in all the Delhi government hospitals.
This decision was taken at a cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. The members have passed the proposal presented by Health department to create 92 posts of hospital managers (superintendents) on fixed consolidated remuneration initially for a one year period on the contract basis.
The hospital managers will be expected to do multifarious jobs including housekeeping, sanitation, kitchen services to specialised medical requirements and equipment handling.
The recruitments will be done in four different sections including Equipment/stores, facilities management, patient facilitation and caretaking.
The division of services among the managers was done by a team of senior doctors on the basis of an assessment of specialized manpower requirement. (ANI)
