Hyderabad, January 10: Train No 2723 Hyderabad-New Delhi AP Express, scheduled to leave Hyderabad at 06.25 hrs, has been cancelled due to fog in the national capital New Delhi on Sunday.
In a statement South Central Railway sources said the AP Express has been cancelled due to severe fog enveloping the National Capital.
They said the SCR has made arrangements to refund full amount to passengers who have reserved their tickets in advance. The SCR asked the passengers to collect their refund money from any station in the state.
Meanwhile many trains were running behind schedule due to fog in northern states.
The New Delhi-Chennai GT Express was running 16 hours behind the schedule, Chennai-New Delhi GT Express running 5 hours late, Hazrat Nizamuddin-Visakhapatnam Link Express running 9 hours late and New Delhi-Trivandrum Kerala Express running 4 hours behind schedule, the railway sources said.
