New Delhi: The national capital witnessed a second cool day on Friday, with maximum temperature settling at 35.5 degrees Celsius, three degrees below the season’s normal. Thursday’s maximum temperature was recorded at 35.4 degrees Celsius.
It was a partly cloudy Friday morning here and the minimum temperature was 25 degrees Celsius, which is normal for this time of the season.
The sky over Delhi is likely to remain partly cloudy with the possibility of haze in the morning on Saturday, though the mercury may climb one or two notches, according to the weatherman.
“There will be partly cloudy sky and haze is likely in the morning. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be 37 degree Celsius and 26 degree Celsius,” an India Meteorological Department official said.
The mercury is not likely to climb beyond the 40 degrees mark in the next two-three days, the weatherman said.
