Delhi-based BJP leader accuses Azam Khan of sedition

New Delhi, Oct. 8 : Bharatiya Janata Party ( BJP) leader Ashwini Upadhyay on Thursday filed a complaint against Uttar Pradesh Minority Welfare and Urban Development Minister Azam Khan at the Parliament Street police station and accused him of sedition.

This, according to Section 124 (A) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), amounts sedition,” Ashwini Upadhyay told ANI.

“He also incited two communities. His intention was to create clash between two communities. That’s why I requested the DCP to lodge the complaint against him under Section 124 (A), Section 153 (A), Section 295 (A) and Section 505 of the IPC,” he added. (ANI)
