NEW DELHI: A man has been arrested for stabbing his elder brother to death when he refused to give him Rs 20 to buy liquor in northwest Delhi’s Swaroop Nagar, police said on Sunday.
The accused has been arrested, police said.
On Saturday night, police received a call from a hospital about a man being brought there with knife injuries. The man succumbed to his injuries.
The deceased was identified as Bunty and after investigation, it was found that he was stabbed by his younger brother Pankaj, police said.
It was found that Panakj was an alcoholic and he was often rebuked by Bunty.
On Saturday, when Pankaj asked Bunty for Rs 20, the latter refused. Pankaj lost his temper and allegedly stabbed his brother with a kitchen knife at their home in Khadda Colony.
