Know My India Programme under NFCH

Hyderabad, March 22 (Siasat News):  A delegation from Assam & Manipur arrived in the city comprised of children along with their escorts. Know My India Programme has gained momentum after the arrival of the delegation as they were given a warm welcome on arrival.

The NFCH is instrumental in providing this kind of unique experience to the children as they will be visiting various historical places and the place of tourist interest in the city during their stay upto March 27. The schedule includes the visit to Golconda Fort, Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Osmania University. Not only this, the children will present the cultural programmes of their respective states as well. Visit to Salar Jung Museum is also there in the itinerary.

Moreover, a visit to Sultan-ul-Uloom will be the highlight of the programme followed by Ramoji Film City. Another highlight of the progeramme is candle light, a symbolic gathering with participants holding candles in their hands as most of the participants are the victims of the ethnic violence in Assam that had shaken the country.

A visit to Shadan College will definitely generate the educational fling among the children the way Hyderabadi Muslim boys and girls have gained in the field of education. Children will also get a chance of accommodation at the residence of Mr. Zahid Ali Khan, editor Siasat Daily.  Apart from this, the delegation will go for sight-seeing too.

The concept of the Know My India Programme is to bring together financially assisted children of the National Foundation for Communal Harmony, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, from different state and regions that promotes oneness, fraternity and national integration as Siasat Daily is a leading Urdu newspaper of Andhra region who has voluntarily accepted to host the programme in Hyderabad.

The delegation from Manipur & Assam will leave on March 28 leaving behind memories of a wonderful visit that would be cherished for a long long time to come.
