A delegation of Andhra Pradesh Urdu Council met collector Hyderabad Mr. Murtaza Ali Razvi at his office at Nampally Abid Road, on Monday and congratulated him, on behalf of Urdu loving citizens, on taking charge as collector Hyderabad recently. The delegation members presented him a bouquet and extended their best wishes.
The delegation included Syed Mujtaba Abidi chairman council, Dr. Anees Iqbal, Syed Ifteqar Husain, Syed Shakeel Abid and Mohammed Tajuddin.
Submitting a memorandum the delegation demanded recruitment of Urdu knowing people in all offices and urged the collector to direct the officials to accept Urdu applications and to inscribe names of roads in Urdu besides scribing Urdu on RTC buses and offices. The collector assured that he would direct the departments regarding this.
