A delegation of 7-seater autos plied between Dilsukhnagar and Nayapul, called on ex-corporator Majlis Bachao Tahreek (MBT), Mr. Amjadullah Khan at his office located at Chanchalguda and complained about traffic police excesses. They showed the challan receipts imposed on them day in and day out. They told that the traffic police staff is not giving any respite, despite showing the copy of permission issued by Home Minister N Narsimha Reddy.
According to drivers they have to pay 3 to 4 thousand per month for the 7-seater autos purchased with the cost of over 3 lakh rupees but due to traffic police excesses especially challans, they face a lot of trouble. The troubled auto drivers told that several challans are imposed in one single day.
Later talking to media Mr. Amjadullah Khan expressed anger over traffic police staff’s excesses and promised the delegation that he would make representation with the Commissioner of Police Mahender Reddy in this connection.
