(Siasat News) There is a delay in getting the amounts of scholarships given by A.P. State Minorities Corporation through banks. Due to this students and parents are worried. The particulars of the amounts of scholarships sanctioned by A.P. Minorities Finance Corporation are available on the website. When the students approach the banks, the bank officials inform that the amounts have not yet been received by the banks. Finance Corporation lacks adequate staff. It is functioning with the help of retired employees. Three officials retired this month which include Executive Director, Hyderabad Mr. Ramesh and Executive Director, R.R. District. Mr. Subba Rao, Mr. Ramesh was re-employed the very next day of his retirement as officer on special duty.
If Minister of Minorities Welfare, Mr. Ahmedullah takes interest, adequate staff could be appointed in Minorities Finance Corporation. It will help in solving the problems of the needy students.
Parents and guardians of the students desired the Managing Director of Minorities Finance Corporation Dr. Mohammed Ilyas Rizvi to take into consideration the complaints of the students and ensure speedy release of scholarship amounts from the banks so that the students and the parents don’t have to go to the banks again and again.
