Committee of officials submitted its report regarding the scam of Minorities Finance Corporation last week itself. The delay in implementing the recommendations of this report raises many doubts. It is reported that this delay is caused due to non-availability of the permanent Principal Secretary of the Dept. of Minorities Welfare.
The Committee of officials headed by Mr. Mohammed Abdul Ghafoor, Joint Secretary of Minorities Welfare had already submitted its report to incharge Principal Secretary of Minorities Welfare Dept. Mr. Raymond Peter. Since he is not the permanent Principal Secretary, he did not take nay action on the report.
It is understood that instead of taking action on officials committee report, Govt. is waiting for the report of CBCID.
