Two lovers committed suicide by jumping in front of a train in Gundlapochampally village in Medchal, on Monday. They took this exteme step as they were depressed since their elders rejected their love.
The lovers were identified as Chandrashekhar, 22year-old and Laxmi Prasanna, 17 year-old, both residents of Suraram Colony in Outhbullapur in Jeedimetla.
According to Inspector Anjaneyulu, government railway police, Secunderabad said, they had been in love since a year.
Recently, when they enlightened the matter to their parents that they wanted to get married, elders on both sides rejected their proposal.
Laxmi Prasanna, on Saturday who went to give her Class X examinations, didn’t return home. Her parents lodged a complaint at a police station and a missing case was registered.
But, on Monday evening, the couple’s bodies were found lying on the railway tracks by the locals who informed the police
