Defeated Komatireddy to Contest Parliament polls

Hyderabad: The newly elected MLA of Congress party Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy on Wednesday said that his elder brother and former minister K. Venkat Reddy would contest as MP from Nalgonda in the upcoming Parliament elections. He also exuded confidence that his brother would win in the elections with huge margin.

Addressing media persons at Nakrekal along with another MLA of the party Chirumarti Lingaiah, Reddy said that they had decided not to celebrate their victory due to the defeat of his brother in the elections. They, however, said that they would respect the mandate of the people of the state. Thanking the voters of Munugodu for electing him as their MLA, he promised to work for the development of the constituency. The MLA was given a warm welcome by party workers at choutuppal.
