Defeat BJP, Congress & vote for TRS: KTR

Hyderabad: TRS working president KT Rama Rao today alleged that heat of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has come down, the Congress gone offline and need to teach them a lesson in the upcoming elections. He welcomed Boath constituency Congress leader Anil Yadav with flowers into the ruling party at a program held at Telangana Bhavan on Wednesday.

Speaking on the occasion, KTR said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has lost sheen and the Congress lost people’s support. The people have to extend support to the TRS and ensure its win in 16 Lok Sabha constituencies to achieve our rights at the Centre, he called upon. The TRS working president made it clear that the BJP and the Congress would not get needed seats in the general polls. Together the BJP and the Congress cannot get majority to form the government, he charged.

As voting for Modi will benefit BJP and electing Rahul Gandhi will only benefit the Congress, the people should vote for the TRS to benefit Telangana State, KT Rama Rao said. He said TRS has guts to fight for the rights. By voting to the two national parties, people will become slaves and voting for the TRS they will be roses of the Telangana State, KTR said. He also predicted that the BJP would hardly get 150 MP seats and the Congress some 100 seats and together they cannot form government. As the nation did not develop during the rule by these two national parties, it is time for the people to select an alternative at the Centre. Federal Front being proposed by Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao will play a key role at the Centre after the polls. “By winning 16 LS seats and one MIM seat, we will play a crucial role in selecting Prime Minister, form the government at the Centre”, he added.

If the alternative front comes to power, there will be qualitative change in national politics and development, he felt. Telangana was the only State in the country to introduce Rythu Bandhu and Rythu Bhima schemes for farmers’ welfare in the world and several States and the Centre were emulating the Telangana, he said. The Congress has fielded leaders, who faced defeat in the Assembly polls for LS polls, he charged.
