Bollywood Actress Tanushree Dutta is caught in controversy again but this time she is also slapped with a defamation case for making comments about Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray this Thursday.
According to the Police, MNS district unit president Sumant Dhas lodged a complaint against Tanushree alleging that she has defamed his party chief said Kaij police in Maharashtra’s Beed district.
“We have registered a non-cognisable offence against Dutta under Section 500 (defamation) of the Indian Penal Code and are investigating the complaint. We have also asked the complainant to approach court,” the Kaij police officer said.
Earlier Tanushree had accused Nana Patekar of harassing her on film sets back in the year 2008 while this time her comments on Raj Thackeray did not go down well with MNS party chief.
Dutta has now alleged that MNS has vandalized her vehicle when she opted out from movie back then. She also said she has been receiving threats from the MNS party and that two persons had allegedly tried y tried to barge into her home recently.
Meanwhile, the MNS party workers are reported to have created a fuss and threatened violence on the big boss set in Lonavla if the show lets her in.
