After all the need of the hour for her is to overtly aggressive about her work and continue to strive for going higher up in quick time. Reason being that there is thick competition all around and many of her contemporaries are doing well with their choices in their endeavour to stay at the top.
Kareena Kapoor has enjoyed commercial (3 IDIOTS) and critical (KURBAAN) success in a quick span of time, Katrina has continued to enjoy her golden run at the box office, Priyanka Chopra is following KAMINEY with SAAT KHOON MAAF for Vishal Bharadwaj and finding a new niche for herself while Vidya Balan is consolidating her status as an actor to reckon with. Such all around competition means that Deepika goes by her instinct and continue to make intelligent choices to have important, though well spaced out film releases over a period of time.
“See, if I am good at what I do, everything will fall in place”, says Deepika without mincing any words, “If I am honest to my profession, I will get all the right films, endorsements, and fan following and of course money.”
