The State government on Thursday setting aside earlier orders has issued revised orders on Deepak scheme.
Soon women belonging to poorer sections will get Deepam gas connections very, and those who are waiting for domestic gas connections under the Deepam scheme will get refills.
District collectors will select the beneficiaries in their respective locations for sanction of LPG connections. Women belonging to SCs, STs, minorities, etc., who is in need of a domestic connection, will be eligible for the same under the scheme.
