Hyderabad, August 04: She also said that the high command suspended the PCC general secretary Mr Ambati Rambabu just because he was a strong loyalist of Mr Jagan. She urged the high command to re-consider the suspension of Mr Rambabu and asked whether it was a mistake in being a loyalist of Mr Jagan. It was not proper to the party to suspend Mr Ambati with out taking his explanation.
She also said that no action was taken against the senior leaders who criticised the party, Mr Veerappa Moily and late YSR openly. She wondered whether Mr Jagan did any harm to the party by taking up ‘Odarpu Yatra’.
She alleged that the party was taking all the actions against Jagan’s followers and urged Ms Sonia to respond on these issues; otherwise the party would weaken in the state.
When asked whether she was supporting Ms Kusuma Kumari’s irregularities, Ms Surekha said that she was not supporting it, but the same should be applied to all the universities in the state. Asked whether it was correct for Ms Kusuma Kumari to say that she has been removed just because she belongs to Mr Jagan’s loyalist, Ms Surekha said that she would have not said like that.
