Nizamabad, January 9: Declaring Muslims unassociated with Telangana movement is a conspiracy and ploy. Muslims were mainly the victims of deprivation and denial after the formation of Telangana. Stand taken by Majlis is not the general Muslims’ stand but it is favouring the interest of Andhra investors.
Srikrishna committee doesn’t have any constitutional value nor its report is based on truth instead it is the compilation of brochures published by the department of information and public relations from time to time. These views were expressed by Hindu Muslim intellectuals of Telangana movement here at Rajiv Gandhi auditorium in a public meeting conducted by Telangana Muslim Intellectual Forum, headed by forum president Mr. Abdul Malik. Prof Kodanda Ram convenor Telangana political Joint Action Committee said ‘Deccan’s history has the imprint of Muslims. Muslims are the identity of Telangana. He said declaring Muslims unassociated with the Telangana movement was unkind.
