Mr. T.Harish Rao praised Talangana N.G.O’s for going on strike last year.
This was the first occasion in the history of the country that administration was completely paralyzed. Even the C.M. didn’t get his salary on time. After the independence such a large number of employees went on strike. He told that TRS is striving for separate Telangana. Last year, the strike had united all the people of state. It was proved that it was not the struggle of the politicians but it was the people’s movement. He criticized the public representatives that at the last moment, they escaped their resignations. He also criticized the Congress MLA’s and ministers that their party had promised to form Telangana. It had also included it in its election manifesto.
Later, Congress duped the people and it didn’t keep its promise. He told that TRS can win more than 100 seats in Telangana, but it is not interested in getting Assembly seats, it wants to get separate Telangana State before 2014. Mr. K.Chandrasekhara Rao has appealed to the people to be ready for any sacrifice for Telangana.
He pointed out that only 20% of the cases of last year’s strike and agitation programmes has been withdrawn. 80% cases of employees and students are still in police records.
Mr. Harish Rao also criticized the anti-Telangana statements made by Congress M.P. of Vijayawada, Mr. L.Rajagopal. He deplored the quiet attitude of Telangana Ministers. They are silent under the pressure from Seema Andhra leaders.
President of Telangana Employees’ JAC told that if Telangana State is not declared, Telangana employees are ready to go on strike once again. He told that this dharna programme is being organized to give a warning to the Central Govt. Dr. K.Keshava Rao, former Rajya Sabha M.P. of Congress hoped that Central Govt. will declare Telangana State very soon. He clarified that Mr. Sushil Kumar Shinde’s statement has been misquoted. He appealed to all the Congress leaders to pass resolutions and send them to Center.
