Decision on Telangana impossible to change- Roshiah

Governor of Tamil Nadu, Mr. K.Roshiah told that a decision has already has already been taken for the formation of separate Telangana State. It is not possible to change the decision taken by Ms. Sonia Gandhi. The agitation for Integrated A.P. is a futile exercise. Seema Andhra leaders sit together and think what should be done for the development of region.

Mr. Roshiah was attending a function organized by Vasavi club in Bangalore. He told this while talking to newsmen that the decision has already been taken on Telangana and the protest in Andhra region is unnecessary and the decision cannot be reverted. Whatever decision is taken in CWC is final. He told that the agitation of Seema Andhra employees is causing inconvenience to people. He advised the agitating employees to end the strike and get their grievances resolved through negotiations.

It may be noted that when P.Chidambaram, the then Home Minister made an announcement on 9th December 2009, Mr. Roshiah was function of A.P. He was advised to pass a resolution in A.P. Assembly but due to submission of resignations by Seema Andhra MLAs he could not present this resolution in Assembly. It may also be noted that when the health condition of Mr. K.Cahndrasekhara Rao President of KCR became critical on 7th December 2009, an All Party meeting was held in Secretariat in which all the parties gave an assurance that they would support Telangana. After this the decision was left to Congress High Command.
