Mr. N. Kiran Kumar Reddy, CM of AP has decided to receive the senior ministers from the responsibilities of the districts. Many ministers had desired the CM to relieve them form such responsibilities. These ministers are: Mr. D. Narasimha, Mr. K. Jana Reddy, Mr. B. Satyanarayana, Anam Ramnarayan Reddy, N. Raghuveera Reddy, S. Vijayrama Rao, Sudershan Reddy, D. Mankiya Vara Prasad Rao, B. Vasant Kumar, Aruna Kumari & D. Nagendar.
Junior ministers will be given such responsibilities in their place. It is reported that CM has already instructed the officials to issue orders in this regard. The main reason for withdrawing from responsibilities of the inchargeships of the districts is the non-availability of funds for developmental programmes. In the meetings of District Development Board meetings, not only the opposition members but the members of ruling Congress party are complaining of the shortage of funds. Despite sanctioning the developmental schemes by the ministers incharge of the districts, many schemes are not being implemented for want of funds.
