Raipur : Expelled Congress MLA Amit Jogi on Wednesday expressed disappointment after being sacked for six years, saying that the ‘biased and unfair’ decision was taken even before the allegations were proven.
“I am hurt, the decision to expel me without proving the allegations against me, is biased and unfair,” Jogi said.
“I will exercise my right to appeal under rule 8 of article 9 of party’s Constitution. Have full faith in party’s leadership,” he added.
Amit, the son of former Chhattisgarh chief minister Ajit Jogi, was expelled from the Congress today after an audio tape allegedly showed that he was involved in fixing an assembly by-election in the state. (ANI)
