London : Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea has showered praise on his team-mate Anthony Martial after the latter smashed a late winner to send his side to the finals of the FA Cup.
Martial scored the decisive goal in the 90th minute of the match as United outplayed Everton 2-1 in their semi-final clash at the Wembley Stadium on Saturday.
Describing Martial’s performance as `unbelievable`, the goalkeeper said that it was a key moment for his side as it completely turned the game.
“In one second, one action, he scores a goal.It was a key moment, they played really well and had some chances at the end, but we played really well. We’re really happy,” De Gea was quoted as saying by goal.com.
De Gea admitted that it was a really important win for his side, but added that making a top four Premier League finish still remain their priority.
The Louis Van Gaal-led side, currently standing fifth in the league table and trailing four points from fourth-placed Arsenal, will now play against either Crystal Palace or Watford in the FA Cup final. (ANI)
