DCU International Student Scholarships for Indian Students in Ireland, 2014-2015

Applications are invited for India scholarships to pursue undergraduate and postgraduate degree program at Dublin City University, Ireland for 2014/15. Applicants must hold and have accepted an offer or a conditional offer by 30th April 2014 for a full-time Undergraduate/Postgraduate (programme at Dublin City University for entry in September 2014. Total 10 India scholarships are awarded (5 undergraduate and 5 postgraduate scholarships). Each individual application will be considered on its academic merits.

Eligibility: In order to be eligible to apply you must be an national of India and studying in Ireland for the first time when entering Dublin City University.
-Be a high achiever with an excellent academic record.
-Hold and have accepted an offer or a conditional offer by 30th April 2014 for a full-time Undergraduate /Postgraduate (programme at Dublin City University for entry in September 2014.
-Be classified as a non-EU student for fee purposes and have permanent residency in your country of nationality.

Scholarship Open for International Students: Students of India can apply for these scholarships.

Scholarship Description: Dublin City University has been ranked among the World’s top 50 universities in a new league table of the world’s young universities (less than 50 years old). The only Irish university to be featured, DCU has been placed 40th in a QS World University Rankings showcasing the next generation of leading universities. This scholarship is only available to full-time undergraduate or postgraduate taught students studying a full diet of modules, excluding the Foundation or Pre-Masters programme.

Number of award(s): 10 India scholarships are awarded (5 undergraduate and 5 postgraduate scholarships).

Duration of award(s): Scholarships are awarded for the duration of the programme.

What does it cover?
-For undergraduate study: Scholarships €3,000 each for 1st Year & €2,000 for subsequent years.
-For postgraduate study: Scholarships of €2,000 each.

Selection Criteria: Each individual application will be considered on its academic merits.

Notification: Students will have the outcome of their application by the 31st May 2014.
