Hyderabad, April 09: With the situation in the riot-hit localities of Old City remaining peaceful during the curfew relaxation period today, authorities here have announced lifting of day curfew for third day in a row for tomorrow.
No untoward incident was reported during relaxation of curfew from 6 am to 6 pm today under the areas of 25 police stations, though police maintained a strict vigil following the death of 48-year-old man at a hospital yesterday.
The toll in the communal violence rose to three after the death of the man, who died at Osmania General Hospital while undergoing treatment. The victim, who was attacked with knives at Falaknuma on March 29, was battling for life and succumbed to his injuries yesterday, official sources said.
