Hyderabad: Ali Shah, daughter of a Muslim auto driver of Hyderabad got free admission in MBBS in Govt. Medical College, Mahboob Nagar. Three girl students who got free seats in medicine called on Siasat editor Mr. Zahid Ali Khan at Siasat office. The girls belong to financially backward families.
Father of a girl works in a kirana store as a daily wage worker. She got admission in Shadan Medical College in A category, while another girl whose father is a videographer got admission in Dr. VRK medical college.
Career Counsellor M A Hameed told that 308 Muslim students got admission in MBBS in first phase through Siasat net counselling while 140 Muslim candidates got admission in Muslim minority colleges in B category.
