New Delhi: Labour Minister Bandaru Dattatreya today called on Home Minister Rajnath Singh to discuss various issues relating to Telangana and Andhra Pradesh and apprised him of the situation in the aftermath of the bifurcation.
“Labour Minister Bandaru Dattatreya met Home Minister Rajnath Singh today and discussed various political issues relating to both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh and apprised him of the situation in the aftermath of the bifurcation of the states,” a Labour Ministry statement said.
According to the statement, the issues relating to bifurcation of employees between the two states also came up.
Dattatreya also discussed about the prevailing law and order situation and the existing differences between the two states.
The statement said, “The Home Minister responded favourably and stated that he will speak to the Minister concerned regarding bifurcation of employees.”
Dattatreya also requested the Home Minister to intervene on the issue of bifurcation of the High Court between the two states and setting up a high court in Telangana.
Dattatreya has invited Singh as the Chief Guest in Alay Bhalay, a social get-together observed in Telangana on the day that immediately follows Dusshera.
