Bandaru Dattatreya, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Labour & Employment, Govt. of India laid the foundation stone of 06 bedded ESI Hospital at Patancheru, Medak District, Telangana on Tuesday. The function was presided over by Nayini Narasimha Reddy, State Minister for Home, Labour & Employment.
Speaking on the occasion Dattatreya announced that ESI Corporation will provide all medical facilities to working class in the organized sector as well as for the un-organized sector like construction site workers, auto-rickshaw drivers and many more. He also informed about various up-gradation and new initiatives for improving the new medical facilities of ESI Scheme in the State of Telangana.
He said that Ministry of Labour & Employment is going to give smart card to the unorganized workers for providing four schemes name i.e. Rashtriya Swasath Beema Yojana, Aam Admi Beema Yojna, Old Age Pension Scheme and Pradhan Manatri Jan Suraksha Yojana.
Narasimha Reddy thanked Dattatreya for bringing this ESI Hospital in the State of Telangana. He also requested to convert the existing ESI Hospital to super specialty Hospital in the Telangana State for providing medical care services to lower wage workers covered under ESI Scheme.
