Bhandaru Dattatreya, the now Governor of Himachal,Pradesh disguised himself and moved around in the name of Dharmender during the Emergency in 1975. He was a Pracharak of the RSS and conducted activity.
However, after a year, he was arrested in Bellampalli and brought to the Chenchalguda central jail, where he spent a year.
