Hyderabad: Union minister for labour and employment Bandaru Dattatreya today said the centre and state governments are jointly striving to make available better medical facilities to labourers .
The union minister had a meeting with ESI officials at its regional office here which was also attended by Telangana home and labour minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy. They discussed on medical and insurance facilities being provided to labourers.
Dattatreya sade Sanatnagar medical college would start functioning this year and it would be a model medical college.
Nayani Narasimha Reddy said that the state government has requested the center to shift Sanatnagar hospital to Nacharam.(NSS)
