Dattatraya meets Union Health Minister on Swine flu Issue

The Union Minister of State for Labour Bandaru Dattatraya met the Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Jagat Prakash Nadda today here to find solutions for the outbreak of swine flu in Telangana.
Dattatreya has requested the Health Minister for sanctioning special funds to improve the infrastructure in the Osmania and Gandhi Government Hospitals to deal with this situation. The Labour Minister has also requested the Centre to establish a research and virology laboratory centre at Hyderabad in order to reduce the response time in dealing with swine flu disease.
Due to swine flu in Telangana, 20 people have died. Most of the affected people are middle aged and the disease is severe in many remote and tribal areas of Mahabubnagar and Karimnagar, and also in Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy Districts.(NSS)
