Union Minister of State for Labour and Employment Bandaru Dattatraya today inaugurated the “Choomantar Magic Asia 2016 – International Magicians Convention” here.
Addressing the first International Magicians convention, Dattatraya said, “Magic is a wonderful art. Magic should be used as a skill development program.” The Union Minister appealed to the International Magic Community to use magic as a tool to create awareness about importance of health and education.
Deputy Chief Minister Mohd Mahmood Ali said as magic will provide entertainment to the people, the governments have to promote this art. TSRTC chairman S. Satyanarayana said magic needs skill, which is beyond the imagination of human eye. Efficiency and perfection can be achieved only after practice. He appealed to the magicians not to misuse the art of magic. Magicians from several nations, including Japan, Thailand, China, Indonesia and so on participated in the Convention. (NSS)
