Union minister for labour & employment Bandaru Dattatraya today said people of Uttar Pradesh have voted to the BJP as they have belief in the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Reacting to election results in UP and Uttarakhand after participating in victory celebrations organised at the BJP Telangana State party headquarters at Nampally, Dattatraya said the Congress party led by Rahul Gandhi was losing confidence among the people. Rahul Gandhi should accept his personal defeat in view of UP elections results, the Union minister said.
The election results also revealed that the people have supported the demonetization decision of the Prime Minister and pooh poohed the Opposition parties’ allegations that people faced problems due to Union government’s decision of demonetisation, Dattatraya said. He called upon people to take inspiration of these results and work hard to bring the party to power in Telangana State also. (NSS)
