Islam’s core message is unity

For building a balanced and respectable relation with non-Muslims, two points are significant, and they are: dispelling doubts and misconceptions about Islam among non-Muslims and strengthening and consolidating intra-Muslim relation.
As for intra-Muslim unity, it is important to realise that Islam requires Muslims to form like a single body with other fellow Muslims, just like the building blocks held together in a solid building.
These views are expressed in a book WE and the OTHER written by Dr Ali Mohiuddin al Qaradaghi, Professor of Islamic Jurisprudence at the University of Qatar.

From Oslo, To Nagpur

Nagpur, August 05: There is something about the rantings of right-wingers, be they mass murderers in Europe or fanatics from the ranks of the Hindu right, that carries a sinister echo of each other. The man was a lunatic who moved from just harbouring prejudices and spreading hatred to bloody action. In the larger story of Breivik, the fact that he praises the forces of the Hindu right and suggests a compact with the European right can be a mere footnote.
