Hyderabad, August 4 (Siasat News): Two unidentified motor bikers have created panic in Chilkalguda as they created the record of a sort by snatching gold chains from six different women worth weighing 13 tolas.
As per the details, the chain snatchers committed the crime between 12.30 to 1.00 pm at Srinivas Nagar, TRT Nagar, Ram Nagar, Gamil Gundu and Kundgiri temple.
The serial incidents of chain snatching has sent shock waves in the police department and the women folk are panic stricken.
New Delhi, August 04: Anna Hazare and his supporters have threatened to burn copies of the Lokpal Bill draft that will be introduced by the United Progressive Alliance Government in Parliament, claiming that the anti-corruption legislation in its present form will not be able to tackle corruption.
Team Anna says it will burn drafts of the bill till August 16 when Hazare has decided to launch an indefinite agitation against the bill.
Riyadh, August 04: A young Saudi man raped his childhood friend after threatening him with a knife following a party at a rest house in the Gulf Kingdom.
The man, in his 20s, was walking back with his 19-year-old friend after the party when he asked him to come with him to a dark lane for an important subject.
“When they were alone, the man pulled out a knife and put it on his friend’s neck…after raping him, he fled…police are still searching for the rapist,” Kabar newspaper said in a report from the southern province of Almajardah.

GO 166 was issued on Wednesday, invoking the act. Only Finance, Pay and Accounts and Treasury departments were brought under ESMA for the present. As strikes are banned under ESMA, if employees abstain from duties, they would not only loose their jobs, but also face the prospect of going to jail.
New Delhi, August 04: A 26-year-old ‘baba’ was arrested here for allegedly raping a teenaged girl who had approached him for counselling as she was repeatedly sexually abused by her previous employer, police said on Wednesday.
Baba Wam Dev Ram alias Bam Dev, who also goes by the name Ramji Maharaj, was apprehended from Punjabi Bagh on Tuesday, ACP (West) V Renganathan said.
“Ramji, who hails from Heala Ranchi in Jharkhand, is wanted in a gang rape case lodged in Rani Bagh police station. He was also arrested in a kidnapping case in 2006 in Simdega of Jharkhand,” he said.

As many as 800 swimmers from 26 states will flex their muscles for top honours in the five day competitions. Hyderabad, August 04: The Telangana students’ Joint Action Committee (JAC) has postponed the Telangana shutdown to Aug 8 to demand deletion of clause 14(F) from Presidential Order.
JAC, which is spearheading the movement for a Telangana state, Wednesday called the shutdown Aug 8 instead of Aug 5 as announced earlier.
JAC is demanding the government not to conduct exam for recruitment of sub-inspectors of police till clause 14(F) is deleted from the Presidential Order of 1975 which treats Hyderabad as a free zone for police recruitment.

An editorial in the Dawn Tuesday said that the Pakistani mangoes have finally made their way to the US, “the result of an effort that was reportedly launched in 2006 and involved lengthy negotiations with American authorities and the development of the necessary pest-control expertise and facilities here at home”.
