Minority Finance Corporation, government of Andhra Pradesh had extended the last date for online submission of post matric scholarship forms but the extension proved futile for the students. Some students told Siasat that the state Minority Finance Corporation and even the respective colleges rejected the applications on the pretext of not producing fresh income certificates for the fact that the income certificates issued by the MRO office are valid for only 3 months. Parents pointed out that the income certificates issued by the Mandal Revenue Officer should be valid at least for one year. This will not only be helpful for the students to get scholarship but will save time.
The parents asked the director Minority Finance Corporation not to follow the footsteps of previous officers and not to pull the wool over students’ eyes by extending the date. Because how can a student submit the form online without fresh income certificate.
