BJP today demanded a fund of Rs. 10000 crore for the cyclone hit state Andhra Pradesh from the centre. The state was consecutively hit by three cyclones Phailin, Helen and Lehar.
Addressing a press conference here BJP leader Bandaru Datatriya asserted that the paddy crop in several places of the state particularly in East and West Godavari, Krishna and Guntur has been badly damaged by the cyclone. He slammed the centre and state governments for getting engaged in the process of bifurcation of the state instead of protecting the interest of farmers.
