In order to bring development in the standards of technical education in the state, the government is considering the idea of creating a Data Analytics Park in Hyderabad to bring about the employment opportunities and to impart requisite skills among students.

Government has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Association of Software and Services Companies (Nasscom) in the presences of Telangana IT and Panchayat Raj Minister K T Rama Rao, to train 15,000 engineering students with industry-oriented skills every year.

Under a pilot project, as many as 15,000 students in fourth year of their engineering course from 27 select engineering colleges, affiliated to JNTU Hyderabad, will receive training in three sunrise sectors – Data Analytics, Cyber Security and Design Engineering.

After receiving industry-certificate, the trained graduates will be directly absorbed by the industry. The training would be extended to all the colleges across the state in few years.

At a high-level meeting held here on Tuesday in the presence of IT minister KT Rama Rao, NASSCOM, JNTU Hyderabad and Telangana Academy of Skill and Knowledge (TASK) signed a MoU to enhance engineering ecosystem in Telangana.
For the successful implementation of the programme, JNTU Hyderabad will train 100 faculty members in the said areas to impart training to students.
