Hyderabad: Habeeb Nagar Police arrested six persons in connection with assault incident which took place on Darussalam ground during a cricket match.
According to the police, in the first case, Y. Suresh (Constable), Ganesh and Naresh (Railway employees) were arrested.
In another case, Syed Ayub, Khaja Sabir and Feroz Khan, resident of Patel Nagar were arrested and given in judicial custody after presenting them in the court. They were shifted to jail.
It may be noted that last week during cricket match played on Darussalam ground, two groups had clashed which resulted in tension in the area.
