Dargah Hussain Shah Wali land case: Waqf Board gets major victory

Waqf Board got major victory in the ongoing land dispute between the Andhra Pradesh State Wakf Board (APSWB) and the AP government and several firms in Dargah Hazrath Hussain Shah Wali wakf land case, when the Supreme Court directed the Lanco Hills company to clearly inform the buyers of their property that the case is pending with the Supreme Court and their transaction would be subject to the final ruling of the apex court.

The Supreme Court said this while hearing arguments in the Dargah Hazrath Hussain Shah Wali wakf land case. A Supreme Court bench comprising R M Justice Lodha and Justice Madan B Lokur on Friday pronounced this judgment.

State Waqf Board Chairman Maulana Syed Ghulam Afzal Biabani Khusro Pasha welcomed the Supreme Court verdict and told that Waqf Board has won half victory and he was hopeful that Waqf Board will win the case finally.
