Danam Slams Centre for Imposing Conditions on Hyderabad

Labour Minister Danam Nagendar here on Saturday condemned the Centre’s action in imposing conditions on Hyderabad city as part of the process division of the State.

Speaking to the media, Danam requested the Union government to withdraw its proposal to bring Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation limits under Governor’s rule. Reminding that no conditions were imposed while dividing three States earlier, Danam questioned the Centre as to why it was imposing conditions on AP State alone.

Stating that he would give total protection to the Seemandhra people living in Hyderabad, Danam expressed fears that riots might erupt in Hyderabad if the Centre failed to reconsider its plan to impose restrictions on Hyderabad. (NSS)
